Rocky Beginnings

Arenvald Lentinus is one of the junior members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Hailing originally from Ala Mhigo, he was born during the height of the Garlean occupation.

Born to an Ala Mhigan mother and a Garlean father, Arenvald's childhood was rife with hardship, particularly as his conception was not consensual. His mother resented his half-Garlean heritage.

One day, believing the boy to be sprouting a Garlean third eye (something that was impossible for any but pure blood Garleans), his mother took a knife to his forehead to try to carve it free. The warpaint Arenvald frequently wears was originally intended to cover the scar of the attack.

It was not long before his mother abandoned him, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets of Ala Mhigo. Eventually, he fled the city entirely.

Joining the Scions

As Arenvald got older, he came to realize he was gifted with the Echo, eventually leading to his recruitment by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. At only 19 summers old, he was introduced to the Scions work at a gradual pace, eventually being charged with protecting the sylph envoy, Noraxia.

His first mission ended in failure when Livia sas Junius and her Garlean soldiers invaded the Waking Sands, slaughtering many, including Noraxia and Arenvald's two closest companions – A'aba Tia and Aulie Meulechamps.

Arenvald remained in the Waking Sands, both in an effort to rebuild his waning courage and in his dedication to do his part to help the Scions recover from the Garlean attack.

The Return Home

When the Scions and Grand Companies resolved to win back Gyr Abania's freedom from Garlemald, Arenvald answered the call as a proud Son of Ala Mhigo, joining the Resistance without a moment's hesitation.

Wearing his iconic white and silver armor, gifted to him by the late Aulie and A'aba, Arenvald spends his time working with Krile Baldeson and assisting the Resistance during the Ala Mhigan campaign while the Warrior of Light ventures to distant Doma.

Eventually Arenvald comes to lead his own team – with new friends J'moldva and V'mah Tia – and the three successfully see to the apprehension of the traitorous Crystal Braves, Laurentius and Yuyuhase.

Arenvald joins the Warrior of Light and leaders of the Resistance upon the defeat of Zenos and the XIVth, personally hoisting the flag of his homeland to signify Ala Mhigo's hard-won freedom.
